WHERE PASSION MEETS CANNABIS CULTIVATION
Cultivation Technicians will be responsible for properly executing daily tasks in Flower or Veg Rooms with full efficiency and a strong attention to detail. Those on the Cultivation Team will be required to demonstrate previous experience in a regulated horticulture environment with a preferable background in production management in comparable agriculture industries. These positions are expected to take direction from the Team Lead, and Head Grower and work directly with other support staff to comply with all daily production maintenance and plant health procedures throughout the duration of the flower phase for all plants in the facility. This position will work directly with other support staff to comply with all cloning, feeding and phase change procedures including METRC and data inputs.
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience or knowledge in greenhouse management, landscape maintenance, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Familiarity with growing techniques and irrigation systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks meticulously.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute all aspects of cultivation related SOPs without direct supervision or oversight
  • Report all irregularities or variances from the SOPs to the Head Grower
  • Perform all assigned tasks to completion each day
  • Be able to complete a variety of different tasks, including adhering to precise feeding schedules and maintain both plant health and stability throughout the duration of the flowering phase
  • Monitor various aspects of plant health including signs of disease or infestation and communicate any issues discovered to the Head Grower and apply necessary IPM applications as needed
  • Understand all aspects of plant tracking and maintain the ability to manage all plant tags in full compliance of the CRA rules and regulations
  • Understand and work within the full range of regulatory compliance requirements and/or prohibitions
  • Accurately fill out and maintain up to date paperwork such as room maps, waste logs and harvest logs as needed
  • Properly use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, walking, and repetitive movements
  • Prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, and high intensity artificial lights
  • Must be able to move and/or lift a maximum of 60 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl while working with ladders and heights
